DESCRIPTION:Great Britain's newly crowned National Champions\, the Cory Band of South Wales\, make their only Ohio stop on their 2026 North American tour. Three weeks after winning the National Championship of Great Britain at London's Royal Albert Hall (their tenth)\, Cory performs at Gray Chapel\, Ohio Wesleyan University\, hosted by Dublin's own championship brass band\, the Dublin Silver Band. Two bands\, one night: the Dublin Silver Band opens with the program it takes to the SIDDIS Brass festival in Norway the following week\, the Cory Band plays the second half\, and the two bands close the night together. Founded in 1884\, Cory is the most decorated brass band of the modern era: eight-time European champions and ranked number one in the world for sixteen consecutive years. This is the band's first appearance in central Ohio\, and Delaware is its only Ohio date. Reserved seats $35 $65\; groups of 10 or more save on every seat. A $30 VIP add-on includes a pre-concert meet-and-greet with music director Philip Harper and the post-concert reception with the band. Doors 7:00 PM. Accessible entrance\, drop-off and seating on the main floor. Presented by the Dublin Silver Band\, part of the Dublin Community Bands\, a 501(c)(3).
