Hector Berlioz, Carnival Overture Claude Debussy, Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun Linda Kernohan, Theremin Concerto (World premiere and commission) Caroline Scruggs, theremin Claude Debussy, La Mer Get ready to immerse yourself in new and exciting sounds at the upcoming November concert! You won't want to miss Caroline Scruggs' captivating performance on the theremin. She amazed the audience in the summer of 2022 with her exceptional skills on this unique instrument. Her performance with the Symphony has garnered over 2 million views on videos. For this concert, she will be performing an expanded concerto written by Linda Kernohan. The program will also include Berlioz’s exhilarating “Carnival Overture,” as well as Debussy’s “Afternoon of a Faun” and the sea-inspired “La Mer.”
