Job Description
Local Sign Company excelling at the latest Signage for Interior and Exterior designs. From traditional signs, to top of the line digital designs. Gas Station, Fast Food, Restaurants, Mini Marts, and more. These signs can be LED, Neon, Pole signs, or Monument signs. With an ever-growing business that has been in business for over 120 years, Visual Communications is ever changing. 
 
Responsibilities:
 
· Operate and monitor machines in a manufacturing environment
 
· Set up machines according to specifications
 
· Read and interpret blueprints and work orders
 
· Use hand tools and precision measuring instruments to assemble and fabricate products
 
· Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices
 
· Ensure machines are running smoothly and adjust as needed.
 
· Troubleshoot issues that may arise during production
 
· Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
 
 
Requirements:
 
· Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing setting preferred
 
· Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus
 
· Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations
 
· Familiarity with hand tools and precision measuring instruments
 
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders
 
· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
 
· Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks
 
· Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
 
Schedule:
 
1st shift (Monday - Friday) 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, overtime would be Saturday 6:00 am - 12:00 pm
2nd shift (Monday - Thursday) 4:00 pm - 2:30 am, overtime would be working Friday 4:00 pm -2:30 am
3rd shift (Monday - Friday) 7:30 pm - 6:00 am, If overtime is scheduled hours would be Sunday night (9:30 pm - 6:00 am)
 
Pay rates:
1st shift - $18.50 hourly
2nd & 3rd shift - $19.50 hourly
